Miami-based self-taught abstract artist, whose work reflects a deep connection to her diverse cultural heritage. Born in a small town in Hungary, of German heritage, she has lived and worked internationally in the UK and USA.
Her art is a vibrant fusion of influences, textures, and techniques. Kriszta is an experimental artist, who likes to explore new ideas, materials, and methods. She is immersed in mixed media and loves resin, wood, paper, found objects, recycled materials, and paint to create dynamic, layered pieces that challenge conventional boundaries.
“My work draws inspiration from the visceral energy and power of Jackson Pollock’s abstract expressionism. Like Pollock, I embrace a fluid, spontaneous creative process emphasising emotions’ raw, instinctual flow. I seek to capture the sense of movement and emotion, channelling the same freedom that Pollock brought to the canvas.”
Although new to the exhibiting world, her work is fuelled by deep curiosity and love for the art-making process. Each piece is a discovery shaped by intuition and the desire to experiment with different forms and textures. The joy of creating art lies in the journey, and she is excited to share this evolving experience with others as she continues to explore the endless possibilities in mixed media
